BEER BATTERED HALOUMI

INGREDIENTS

  • 50g (1/4 cup) plain flour
  • 75ml (1/3 cup) beer
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Oil for frying
  • 225g halloumi cheese (8 x 1cm slices)

METHOD

  • Add the flour and beer to a large bowl, and season generously. Whisk until smooth.
  • Heat a couple of centimetres of oil in a Weber Griddle pan or Weber Wok.
  • When oil is hot add halloumi and fry until it is golden brown
  • Remove onto a sheet of paper towel to drain excess oil
  • Serve
