Seasonal Fruit Crumble Cake

  • 800 g fruit of the season, 100 g blue berries
  • CRUMBLE: 200 g flour, 200 g oatmeal, 150 g sugar, 150 g butter, 300 ml crème fraîche

PREPARATION:

  1. Prepare the fruit and cut into small cubes and place them in the ceramic pie dish. Add the berries on top.
  2. CRUMBLE: Mix the flour, oatmeal, sugar in a bowl.
  3. Cut the butter into small cubes, add the butter to the bowl and mix with the dry ingredients. Mix until crumbly.
  4. Spread the crumble mixture evenly over the fruit in the pie dish – so they are all fully covered.

AT THE GRILL:

  1. Preheat the grill to 230 °C.
  2. Place the grilling stone on the grill. Then place the ceramic pie dish on the cold grilling stone and close the lid. Keep the lid closed for minimum 15-18 mins.
  3. Check that it is baked evenly, otherwise turn it half a turn.
  4. Bake for 12 mins until the surface is golden and crispy.
  5. Remove the ceramic pie dish and let the crumble rest. Serve with crème fraîche.
