Weber Grill Academy with Chef Tjaart


From grilling and roasting to baking and smoking, you’ll be amazed at what you can cook using these simple techniques.

Throughout the class, you will be shown how to get the most out of your braai, to prepare anything from roasts to sous vide chicken, the ultimate pork crackling to puddings! In-depth tuition in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, will inspire you with the confidence and enthusiasm to really expand your WEBER experience.

Using Weber’s lid-on technique on both charcoal and gas barbecues, Chef Tjaart will spend two and a half hours teaching you the best way to cook a number of all-time braai classics.

As part of this course you’ll be tasked with creating a part of the classes menu. You will be asked to prepare your own de-boned leg of lamb and be taught how to cut and portion a whole salmon trout. We will also show just one of the many possibilities to expand your braai menu with a demonstration of the famous “beer can chicken.”
